Hey you guys are fucking awesome and its cool that you guys finally get to do a show in the us. But it would also be good if you guys were able to do a tour somewheres in canada sometime aswell. Its a good metal sean, well from what I saw already it is. You guys are a great influence in my opinion and I find that its cool that you guys produced so many songs for so long only touring a few times. Well its not really cool because I'm sure playing life is a fucking awesome experience and must have had the best time ever. Well. I'm saving up to go to the maryland death metal fest but I might be short of cash. We'd like to tour alot more often than we do, but family life puts alot of restrictions on such activities, so we have to limit it to one or 2 tours per year (depending on their lengths etc..) and maybe some festivals or one-shot type shows. No just kidding I really loved Hatefilled Vengeance but Deviant somehow sounded too clean for me. Reply: Might look gay, but it sounds ok. However - we haven't used it live yet... or on record for that matter. Only used it in the practice room so far. /U
For the record, almost no effects were used during the Deviant sessions. Just the normal shit like reverb etc... Also, the effects unit (pitch shifter namely) alone won't make you sound like Rikard. And which guitar does your guitar player use and which pedal? pretty brootal sound. thx- | Reply: Live and studio are two different things. We don't use a pedal on the records... but we have used a T.C.Electronics pitch shifter on some - but not all - low vocals. Guitar straight to a Mesa Triple Rectifier on the records. Live it depends on if I am playing on my own rigg or not... and no - I don't own a Mesa. /U
