just wanted to say that Regurgitate is awesome. and i was wondering how you guys get the bass to sound so sick!? any special equipment you ar using? | Reply: Thanks... the bass sound changes with every recording, but bassically (bad joke I know) it's produced by a downtuned bass with thick(ish) strings through a distorsion pedal and an amp - on the latest recording we used a BOSS DS-1 mixed with a clean signal through a SANS-AMP for added low end. But we have, on other occasions, used a BOSS Heavy Metal or a BIG MUFF instead of the DS-1. So... nothing special really. /Urban

yeah, just a quick question. What kind of equipment did you use to get that sort of bubbling vocalsound on your earlier releases? | Reply: The gurgling sound comes from Rikards throat... that's it. Sometimes with pitch shifter on it, sometimes without, but the gurgling has to be in the vocals cuz no effect (that I know about) can produce that. I think beer and milk helps if you want to try it for yourself :-) /Urban
